It's important to follow up with the 2-week round of treatment to kill any parasites that may have hatched after the first round; else the worms may repopulate. If parasites still seem to be present after the second round of treatment a doctor should be consulted.

Warnings Before Use

Because little of De-Worm is absorbed into the bloodstream, serious side effects are very unlikely. Some patients do experience gastrointestinal symptoms, such as nausea, cramping and diarrhea. These symptoms are not cause for concern unless severe.

The active ingredient in this medication is known to cause birth defects in animals; it is unknown how it effects unborn human babies or if it passes through breast milk. Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to become pregnant should avoid using De-Worm.
